I did my internship in the Queenswell Infant and Nursery School in London and worked there as a Teaching Assistant. I worked in little groups of children and helped them with their daily stuff. Sometimes I went to the garden with them or to the gym. I was really sad when it was time to go back to Germany. I enjoyed my time with the children and the other teachers. My host family was very nice as well. I also had a lovely time there, even though I did not spent much time at home. There were sooooo many things to see! It was a very great experience and I would like to go back again any time!

I did my internship at the Cameron Elementary School which is located in Cameron/Wisconsin in the north of the United States. There I observed the lessons, supported the teachers and I played with the kids. I had very nice colleagues and I really enjoyed my stay there. We also spent a weekend in Chicago which was awesome! I had a wonderful time in America and I stayed with a great family. All in all it was a fantastic experience.

I really enjoyed my time at the Queenswell Junior School. It was an interesting experience to work with so friendly and lovely kids. I learned a lot how an English primary school works. Every day I had to help the kids with their daily school stuff, e. g. maths or reading. And I really liked Liz, my host mother in her cosy cottage. She is a very nice and helpful person and did everything to make me fell at home in North London.

I did my work experience in Millennium Hotel Knightsbridge in London. My main tasks were to set up the tables or to work in room service. All in all it was a great experience and I would love to go back. The people I met, especially my colleagues were very open-minded. I am sure that I will always remember these 6 weeks and I am happy that I got the opportunity to work and live in a foreign city for quite a long time.

I did my work experience at the Ellen Wilkinson School for girls in Ealing, West London. During the six weeks I stayed at the house of my host family the Gordons, who were really hospitable and relaxed. My job at the school was to help immigrated girls from Asian and African countries to amend their written and spoken English, furthermore I taught some German. It was an unforgettable experience for me and I quite miss it.

I did my internship in Cameron, a small town in Wisconsin, USA. I really enjoyed the six weeks with my host family. They all were so nice to me and made me feel at home from day one. They helped me to get to know more about the people and the country like a weekend trip to Chicago or a visit of an American campus. I also liked to work in the Cameron Public Library. All my colleagues were very helpful and friendly. I was able to do many things from day one so I could improve my language skills. I served for example the customers who wanted to check books in and out, I answered the phone or I worked at the computer to look up if books were available. When it comes to the bottom line I have to say that I had a great time I will never forget. I am so happy that I had the opportunity to go to the US and it was totally worth it.

I did my work experience with the Park Inn Hotel in England. I worked in the finance department where I checked the invoices of the hotel guests. All my colleagues were awesome and I had a great time with them. During my six-week-internship I stayed in the hotel with my friend and we had a quiet, comfortable room. When it comes to the bottom line I enjoyed my stay in England and I think I had a gorgeous time.

I did my work experience in the Sheraton Hotel & Resorts in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. I worked in the biggest restaurant of the hotel, named “Flavours”. I stayed in a flat in a special accommodation for the associates of the Sheraton hotel. All in all the time in Abu Dhabi was great, I improved my language skills, became more self-confident and met lots of nice people. I never want to miss this exciting experience.

I did my work experience with the Sheraton Hotel in Abu Dhabi, in the United Arab Emirates. I worked in an Italian restaurant as a waitress. Abu Dhabi is really fascinating, especially the culture and the unique skyline. It was really interesting to see a new tradition and other people with another lifestyle. All in all, it was a great experience for me and I really enjoyed the time. I would definitely do it again!

I did my work experience with the Annie Sage Child Care Centre, a typical day care centre for children before they go to school in Somerville, Australia. Although I really liked playing with the children and working together with my colleagues I made the most impressive experiences when I went to Melbourne and Sydney on my own. I met lots of backpackers and would very much like to go to Australia again. All in all it was the most gorgeous time I've ever had.

I did my work experience with the Mitchell Elementary School in Manitoba, Canada and I attended classes from Kindergarten to Grade 4. My main tasks were helping the teachers with their educational work, supporting the kids during the lessons and working with the students who had special needs. Altogether I was very excited to travel for such a long time to another country. I improved my language skills and became more confident. Working in the school was amazing. The teachers were very courteous and made me feel welcome from the first day.

I did my internship with the Park Inn Hotel in London. There I worked in the Finance department, where I wrote invoices for the hotel guests and the airlines. My colleagues were lovely, obliging and very helpful. During the six weeks there I stayed together with Tatjana in a quite posh double room. The time in London was very funny and I think that I have improved my English and communication skills. All in all it was a great time and I do not want to miss it.
